Interview with Lucy Williams | NEW GUEST BLOGGER
While surfing and searching to find the next best thing in style blog land, we came across London based blogger Lucy Williams. Her blog ‘Fashion me Now’ intrigued us so much that we directly send out an e-mail with our request to start a guest blog on our website. Lucy is one of those beautiful girls that everyone wants to photograph: all long blonde hair, Sienna look-a-like, leather biker jacket and effortlessly cool. Pick a street style blog and a photo of Lucy will more than likely be on it – this style queen is pulling it off. Lucy is also looking forward to her guest blogging spot at www.creatorsofdesire.com “In the coming two weeks readers can expect lots of inspiration, snippets of things I like and some outfit post –which I normally don’t do, so it’s really worth to pay a visit- It’s going be a fun ride all the way, and I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to it!”
Time for a short introduction with our new style tastemaker. 'Fashion us now' Lucy!

Q: Could you describe your style in three striking words?
A: Laidback, simple and a little bit bohemian (not quite 3 words but I tried!)
Q: When did your blog started to become very popular? What triggered your massive success?
A: I’d been doing my blog as sort of a hobby and mood board until I did a shoot with Vanessa Jackman for Grazia.it earlier this year. It was only after this shoot that I started getting a decent traffic to my blog. I still have a long way to go and always get really excited when I get a comment or a new follower!
Q: What are you going to do after finishing this Q&A?
A:Heading out for dinner and drinks with my boyfriend and friends.
B: What do you eat for breakfast?
A: I always wake up starving so I have to have a big breakfast. A boiled egg and soldiers during the week and a big fry-up or banana pancakes on the weekend.

Q: What's your biggest star struck moment?
A: I’ve never been star struck exactly but was definitely very overexcited when I went backstage at X factor last year - sad but true!
Q: Who is your absolute fashion muse?
A: It’s so hard to pick just one person. I find inspiration through lots of things, like music, film, travel and people I see on the street. That said, I always love Erin Wasson, the Olsen twins and Kate Moss. They’re all rule-breakers at heart and not afraid to take a few risks style wise.
Q: Everyone has had a favourite clothing piece worn ‘till death, what's yours?
A: Without a doubt my black leather biker jacket. I bought it from Topshop 5 years ago and have barely taken it off since. Even though it's high street, it’s still to this day the best leather jacket I’ve found and it has worn so nicely. I can’t help but bond with others I’ve met with the same one as it was such a good find!

Q: Can you live from your blog?
A: I work as a Fashion and Beauty researcher for Stylus.com,so I balance Fashion Me Now with that. I love doing both as I feel one inspires the other and it means I’m always busy and always learning.
Q: What do you usually do on a Saturday night?
A: Recover from Friday night
Q: What music do you put on to get happy?
A: Right now it would be Fleetwood Mac ‘Go Your Own Way’ and Ben Howard ‘The Wolves’.
Q: What's your most important advice to become an A-list fashion blogger?
A: It’s hard and I’ve definitely been guilty of it, but it’s important to keep posting as regularly as possible, think originally and take every opportunity you’re offered.
Q: What's in your opinion fashion capital of the world and why?
A: As a Londoner, I can’t sing the praises of my hometown enough and think some of the world’s coolest young designers have emerged from London over the recent years. However, I’m totally in love with Paris and all it has to offer in terms of inspiration and design. I’m already counting down the days till I can go back and spend a day wandering around the Marais.

Q: Who is your favorite fashion blogger?
A: There are so many, but particular favourites are Elin Kling, the girls behind Anniieemal and Caroline of Carolines Mode.
Q: Can you explain your blog name?
A: It’s a bit of lazy blog name, but it reflects the mindset I get in when blog surfing. You want that instantaneous hit of fashion or inspiration and that’s what I hope people get from Fashion Me Now.
Q: What's your ultimate fashion craving at this moment?
A: I can’t stop thinking about a burgundy leather jacket from The Kooples. It’s sold out but I’m still checking every day just in case…
